Suspension questions from a Noob

Hey there. Just joined last week. I have a 2016 GTI and wondered this...

What can I expect by mounting the flush kit wheel spacers? Does it give less of a wheel to fender gap look than stock? Pictures?

If not I see the commonly used springs here and wondered if there is a reputable place in the Tampa Fl area that can mount the springs for a reasonable price.

I appreciated the help in advance.

Other than appearance the flush appearance of the fenders lining up with the fenders, the flush mount kit will not change the suspension characteristics of your GTI.

Here in SWFL there is VAP motorsports, I'm not sure of any shops in Tampa. If you are on Facebook there is a FL VW club you could join to get more answers.

P.S. you may not of received any responses due to the location you posted your thread. The cosmetic mod section is more appropriate, as your question is asking for photos.

Really? Not one response? This is really lame.

You could do a search first. There are a ton of guys running the flush kit. I'm sure with an quick search you would have found what you're looking for.

Visually the wheel gap will look even bigger with that "flush kit".
To close that gap you'd need a set of lowering springs.

For pictures just see this:

For springs read this:

Not exactly. It will raise forces acting to all suspension links and
steering. Some road imperfections will be more noticeable through
the steering wheel with it. Suspension wear is increased.

Thanks for the responses. As I said, I'm new here and really haven't learned where to post specific things or how to pose the correct search questions. I appreciate the help
