Side Visor it does extend!!!

Hi All, I have a 2016 GTI and I have eyes that are very sensitive to the sun and I have to move my visor to the side all the time, but I am a big guy and it does not nearly cover the part of the window that hits my eyes. I was about to buy some type of adapter when I decided to google it as I would think many MK7 owners would have the same issue and to my surprise it does extent... it is not an insert as it is with some cars, the whole thing extends\slides from the top rod.

Well that made my day and hopefully others will find this helpful!!

yes it is deigned to do this for sure. I found a picture online (not my car), hopefully that helps to clarify how it works.
