Should probably specify that this is a Fiesta ST, and not the more closely comparable Focus ST.
Yeah, I wouldn't consider the Fiesta to be in the same class as the R. The Focus isn't really either, that's more of a straight comparison with the GTI in my mind.

I went from MK6 Golf R Stage 2+ to Fiesta ST and now I'm going back to MK7 Golf R ... If you don't know/understand what the Fiesta ST is about, reading about it from an article can't convey this little fun hatchback, the car is simply a blast to drive, plain and simple. Don't get me wrong, I do miss the AWD and the extra power, but taking the ST around some bends and driving it 9/10s most of the time, brings joy and pleasure to mind. I wanted to try this car and its definitely one of the most fun cars I've had, but I'm a VW diehard and faboi as you guys put it, so I'll be going back once the MK7 comes out.
