Just wanted to put out there that it looks like e-acca.com has the GTI Euro center dash trim panel for GTI MIBII 8" retrofits available for $119 shipped. Cars245 has them too but more expensive.

5G1819728AFDAR is the part number.

I know these were a little hard to find for a while. Wished AliExpress had them for super cheap.

What style of screen would this be for? The 8" with the physical buttons or the 8" with the capacitive buttons?

Search eBay worldwide. That’s what I ended up doing. Fortunately had a friend in Scotland who could buy it and ship it.

There’s one on eBay right now, just popped up, but it’s $500.

Can’t you just get a NAV screen and ignore the NAV button?

I think there are issues with app connect or something, but in all, having a button that doesn't do what it says it does would drive me insane as a QA Engineer.
