Hi folks,
My 15 GTI S just had an engine light on and it read 'P11A7 - Cam Shift Actuator B Cylinder 2 Circuit/Open' (not sure 'i' should have been 'a'). No other codes found. I looked it up and could not find whether it is indicative of a sensor, wiring, part or real camshaft issue. Anyone familiar with this? The car was parked on the driveway in the last two months when I was out of town and light came on when starting it first time upon return (or 2nd, not sure exactly). I have not driven it on the street but seems to move and sound fine.
It's DSG all stock since purchased new from Dec 2014. DIY oil change (Liqui Moly) every ~5k, daily commute fine for 73k (up to Spring 2020).
