ITGuy, if you need a cheap one soon, check out RockAuto. Cant really beat $300. Most other places are double that!

https://www.rockauto.com/?mfr=SACHS&partnum=DMF91192

Thanks Gibberoni, yay that's the best price from RockAuto, but if FCP put together this kit with all the bolts and flywheel you really can't beat it. Pretty much takes the guess work out and trying to acquire all the parts from different places. I'm going back to stage 1 to get a bit more out of my clutch while we wait for this.. I was looking at the DMK stage 2, but if you could get everything from FCP that would be awesome.

Sure will, I will get in a DMF from ZF part number 06J105266AL to line everything up.

That would be awesome MikerFCP.. That does seem to be the part everyone is using. We just couldn't understand why sites are showing different disc sizes. Can you guys get the Dual Mass Flywheels?

Hallelujah! @MikerFCP

Thank you for doing the comparison. Personally, I will wait. I'm preemptively getting a clutch prior to stageII.

Ideally (in my opinion), there would be 2 kits that you'd sell for the mk7 GTI:
- One that included the TTRS pressure plate w/ the 6 bolts, the Sachs 240mm disc, the Luk throw out bearing with the 3 bolts, and a clutch alignment tool.
- Second that included the components of the first kit plus the OEM DMF and flywheel tool.

Looking forward to your conclusions

+1

Yes that is definitely the best two options. I would assume (6X) bolts come with flywheel too. I have all that in my shopping cart and the transmission fluid

I feel ya. I was able to price out the entire kit, nuts and bolts and all from 5 different places (ECS, FCP, DAP, Rockauto and the dealer) and keep it under $1K

Update on this, waiting for several components to come in from Audi/VW and Sachs performance so I can prep several kits and offer packages. Trying to avoid selling a clutch kit as part of the kit that will not end up getting used. Also save the end user some cash, I think Sachs Performance will offer a upgraded plate that I can use to put together something cool. Should know this week once everything arrives.

Sorry for the delay, just want my ducks in a row before I put it up.

was going to order a kit tomorrow but eeuro is out of clutch discs anyway. If this is something that will be put together in a reasonable amount of time, i'll gladly be a test mule.

Update,

Sorry for the wait here, wanted to get all my ducks in a row as I did some research here to identify the components needed. Also wanted to talk to some buddies who have down the swap to confirm the parts needed. Looks like the OP and DAP are accurate on the part numbers required for the change over. So step ones was getting them all added to the site below, wanted to come in at the lowest price point I could for anyone interested (and to make this swap more viable then going with a performance option).

Clutch Kit Part Number 07K141015BX ($389.99 + $25.00 Core)

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/audi-clutch-pressure-plate-tt-quattro-vag-07k141015bx

Clutch Disc 240MM Part Number 03G141031P ($99.99)

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/audi-vw-clutch-disc-sachs-03g141031p

Clutch Release Bearing Part Number 0A5141671 ($59.99)

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/audi-vw-clutch-disc-sachs-03g141031p

Pressure Plate Bolts Part Number N90320701 x 6 ($0.89)

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/au...screw-m7-x-14-a3-tt-genuine-vw-audi-n90320701

Total for the replacement kit, with all the recommended components comes out to $555.31.

Now if there is interest is the replacement flywheel I also have access to a unit from Sachs available below.

Flywheel OEM Sachs ($349.99)

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volkswagen-flywheel-sachs-06j105266al

Still working on sorting out a kit from Sachs Performance that can provide the same results as piecing it together, will provide their inputs one I hear back from them.
