Link to sale? Might get myself a birthday present
Looks like they stopped it now, it was just a general sale on their website for easter.

My vote is v730
Mind if I ask about your reasoning? I'm breaking traction midway in 2nd and into 3rd in some scenarios, and it'd be nice to have more lateral grip than all seasons. The car rarely sees rain, but I'd like to have a moderate amount of confidence in wet weather. AX people seem to like the 615 as a rain tire, and being a 200tw I assume they're at least fairly sticky in the dry as well. I'm a little worried about flat spotting over the winter, but I'm kind of hoping to get a second set of cheap wheels to just sit the car on over the winter.

I retract my statement. They're terrible in the rain. Unless you like going 55.

I don't mind because central Texas is mostly dry.

Wife and I went playing in the dirt over the weekend. Here she is sending it, a regular Travis Pastrami. Meanwhile, I drive with the extreme aggression and memory of every time I've been burnt by a stupid Subaru exhaust manifold. We had a bunch of fun though, she's talented and I'm letting off steam.

It was supreme fun. I've been interested for a while, but never had a car I was willing to put in the dirt -- and more recently, we don't have space for an additional car. Luckily our friend owns the above Legacy, and we've been granted the privilege to use it anytime we want for RX. The AC doesn't work and the crank windows are unreliable so it's consistently 20° hotter inside than out, the brakes are a little sketchy, and shifting into 3rd and 4th is just kind of a guessing game, but it's hilarious fun. I get the impression that Nat might actually take a podium spot if we keep this up, meanwhile I will continue to take out an obnoxious amount of cones (not for lack of trying, I'm just not good at it) and have a bunch of fun.

Aerofabb is taking forever to ship my diffuser (ordered during their easter sale) and it's making me make all sorts of bad decisions

Bracket for the seat for the Mazda is coming tomorrow and then it can go in, fit is good and I've got the old seat out. Hopefully I don't set off the airbag installing, I'm told a 2.4kohm resistor will suffice to avoid the airbag light in that car but I'm not @StorableComa so there's a chance I might explode 🙃 also serverpartdeals has 16tb recertified drives for $140 and it's very, very tempting, but I'd need to order like 5 for it to be effective and well that's difficult.

BUUUUUUUUUUT I got the spacers and dust covers from BFI for the rear wheels, so I can put those on today. Hell, depending on how squirrely I'm feeling, I might even look at what would be involved to make a rig so I can use my old Mazda seat with our budget simrig

My aerofabb sideskirts I bought during Thanksgiving sale took forever because of him being inundated and not planning for enough materials. I emailed him kindly about status and he sent me a free sweatshirt.....just saying ;)

also...not to threadjack, buuuuuut.......lots of good tire discussion here. I don't track my car, but need a good summer tire that will operate well in rain too....what do ya'll run?

Sounds good, I might reach out and see if I can get an ETA.

And it's down about 100hp from my GTI, but I've been very pleased with the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+ on my Mazda. No scariness in the rain, decent lateral grip in the dry, and seems to wear pretty well. And for the mild-ish winters we've had in the past, I've been able to get around in the snow without too much issue. I know others like the Michelin Pilot Sports as well, or the Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02 are supposed to be a prety good AX rain tire.

PS4S was pretty sweet yesterday in a torrential downpour (heavy/loud enough that I couldn’t be heard on the phone). Complete confidence, no hydroplaning

As a budget alternative, try the

Falken FK510/FK520

great dry grip & i thought wet performance was even better.

running those currently.....thinking of something less snow, more summer

ran those before the DWS...liked them a lot but man did the tread wear down really fast
