Hey All,

Here is my GTI I bought last April. I picked it up within the same hour it was dropped off the truck. I got very lucky and my dealer and sales man are awesome. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I plan on going to a few track days this spring and summer-home track is Lime rock. Future plans are suspension and chassis improvements! O.Z Ultraleggera light wheels w/ PSS 235's and I have not decided on suspension. I am still waiting for chassis bracing to be developed and released.

Below are pics!

Cheers!

Back roads in Bennington and Manchester VT! Awesome roads.

Just wanted to express some updates on my new ride. I would do it on the STI forums but they are not the best...

Just got my wing removed and added front mudflaps.

Currently running Pirelli winter sottozero 2

Upstate NY winters so I try to keep the undercarriage clean as possible.

Can't wait for Spring to carve up the mountains in VT, NY and CT.

Cheers!

Update!

I’m back! I got very lucky and a 2015 SE dropped on lap and had to bite! Ever since I bought my STI I realized how special the GTI was. Not sure what I’m going to do with my STI but for now I’m going to make this MK7 mine!

This one is VERY dirty and it’s been pretty much siting for the past year in a garage. The house was under construction so there’s tons of dust in and out of the car. Can’t wait to detail it and make it perfect.

I was tailing an STI yesterday and the way it rotated through corners looked like a blast. I could see the rear end swing out just a tad toward oversteer. Looked really well balanced. But you think the GTI is more fun to drive or just better overall?

Well back when I got the STI I wrote a whole thing comparing both cars. I pretty much still feel the same, especially since i've been driving the GTI for the last 4 days. Long story short- don't sweat the STI. It's a car built from Lego's and GTI's feel they are built with solid billet blocks.

for way less, buy a used mustang, camaro or E92 328i and keep your GTI as a daily.

I'm sure you got a great deal on a '15 model year, how many miles? The GTI is definitely a great daily. BTW, I'm also a huge fan of AMMO products!

It's my father in-laws car-back in 2015 when they came out we both bought GTI's. He knows I love them so he sold it to me for 10k with 36,900k miles. Like I said, its not perfect but its in great mechanical condition.
