Mk8 GTI to be revealed in March

One thing I'm looking forward to about the electric future: more modular architecture. The batteries and motors will all be the same with different bodies plopped on top (much like we're already seeing with the ID series). I would love if the mk9 went full boxy retro like a scaled up mk1.

Oh, I'd kill for a Totem Alfa GTV, these things are great:

It's more of a diffuser look. The eTron S has a little bit of it going on too.

Certainly be cheaper. I've nearly bought a few 1700's or 1800's, but ultimately can't make public driving something that old jive with SUV's and vapid drivers. But for track use, yeah, it's a great little thing.

Just a half million dollar, carbon bodied electric Alfa. It’s lovely, I’m not sure it’s long on value though.

I'm a sucker for a good restomod, always make the pants tighter. Especially a classic alfa.

Is it worth pulling equity from the house? No more then the restomod of jaguar e type. I can still appreciate it, even if I'm not in right tax bracket to buy it.

Originals are all over the place, they’re fun cars and still (mostly) reasonably priced.
