Free plug: these dampers are amazing. (lots of write ups supporting this)

And PNW* people are cool in my book. 😎 🍻

Thanks! Considering keeping them actually. Goat, did you ever find a set of springs that work with these without bottoming out?

Edit: I ask because I read through your thread about replacing bump-stops and it made me consider going with something different.

Don’t sell your B8s!!!!

Hang in there another week.

I’m installing the 034 Motorsports Audi S3 springs. Should have a near perfect ride height, ample room for compression travel, and a much stronger spring rate than the typical “Cars&Coffee drop my car 1-2” springs.” 😎

Documenting it over in the Tracking Racing forum. Will try to post a link here.

Triumph of the will… 034 Audi S3 springs, B8 dampers, almost perfection.

Thanks for the update Goat! TBH a bit low in the front for my liking. Might try going with the Eibach GTI linear springs (E10-15-021-02-22) since those are what are in the Bilstein B12 kit.

If you aren't doing lots of track days, the linear rate (Golf R) Eibach PK (essentially what you described) is a great choice. It has stock front spring rates and a slightly stiffer rear (285 vs 250lb/in)

I have some sitting in a box taunting me. I am just tired of doing installs for this car this month... 👀 😖 😩

Unfortunately I do drive the car mostly for AutoX and transitioning into track days. I was hoping that one of the Eibach offerings (either the linear GTI or the linear Golf R versions) would be a minor drop and stiffer spring rate.

I’d be interested in buying your Golf R linear springs if you wanted to sell.
