Led's with resistors attached is a very poor, amateur way of tackling the problem, as the car should be re-coded with vcds to accept standard LED reduced load.
All you're doing is adding load through the resistor, which gets very hot, and will most likely set fire to your car!!
Also, you have completely defeated the bulb failure warning.
Don't bother with the expensive VW led conversions, buy some T5 led's from fleabay for 99p ea, and fit to the standard holders. Then vcds the bulb type and load.
This way, if the LED fails, like one of mine did this week, the car still senses the loss of load, although tiny, and gives you the failure warning . I've done loads of cars over the last 5 years, and this was the first failure!
If you don't have vcds, then I'm sure someone on the forum who is local, can help. Or pay your dealer to do it, as a one off.
