Lamin-X on Light Output

I've been thinking about purchasing lamin-x or something similar to protect my headlights from chips and such. However, I'm worried that the film may affect light output from xenon headlights.

Does anyone have lamin-x on their xenon headlights and can share whether or not the film interferes with the light output? I'm primarily concerned with the cutoff from the projectors. Any pictures and comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Follow my link to my built thread below.
Go to page 5 about half way down.
I have had on my LP lights for over 6 months.
Love them. I give details in my thread on suggestion for install and what I think of them.
Looking at light very hard to tell if the film is on.
They only time I can tell film is on light from driver seat is when I pull up to garage door. You can see some slight distortion in light along edge of light 4-5ft up of door.
Very slight.
I would not let this stop me from using.
The film is tough and will protect my expensive LP lights for a long time.
If not enough info in thread let me know.
Got mine from ECS tuning. For the cost a no brainer mod.

Hey Sandman,

Found it on page 7, thanks for the review! Love the build thread btw.
Is there any chance you could take some pictures of the distortion mentioned?

Thanks again!

Can but it will be a while before I could upload.
Can not do from phone and due to holiday will not be near a computer.
If you can wait will be early next week. If you can not wait I say do it.
I am confident my lights are protected and in driving can not tell.

Do the install when you have time and are not in a rush.
Stick with it and follow my suggestions to apply.
