Red LED all the way.

deAutokey makes good stuff for MK7.

They also make color changing footwell lights.
But with a GTI why would one want anything but red.
R owner can get blue!

Also look at LED for license plate and rear hatch light.

i just bought 30cm RED LED strips and plugged the leads into the footwell lighting clip. cost me <$4 for 4 so i put them in the back seat as well

Do you have a picture of them in the back too? I would easily consider doing this when my GTI comes in!
