Idle Change with OBDEleven

Going to try to raise my idle with OBDEleven....anyone have directions on how to do this?

I can set it, but to no effect on idle.

Thanks Nype. Does it work the same for obdeleven as it does with vcds? (Learning as i go...this is all new to me)

You just need to make the changes manually via Obdeleven, referencing the setting being changed here via VCDS.

That said, I have not made this change, so can’t confirm whether it works or not.

doesn't work on my 1.8t.

I can set it, but to no effect on idle.

Also didn't work on my 16 gti. Used my JB4 to confirm (shows instant RPM number), didn't change.

Ymmv.

I'm wondering if this has some kind of bad interaction with Eurodyne. For some reason with an ED tune, the "warm up cycle" tend to only occur when the engine is truly cold, like off for 10 hours cold. After 4 hours of being parked in 40f weather the rpms will come down immediately after crank instead of staying above 1000 for a bit.
