Headlight dipped beam

Hi I have a mrk 7 golf r I have a warning light saying left dipped headlight beam, took the bulb out and changed it but it’s still not lighting up. I’ve checked all the fuses and there all fine does anyone know what else it could be

@Ellie234 : Hmm..... the answer to your question is very dependent on what flavor lamps are plugged into your headlight fitting.

If the low-beam lamp is HID, the problem could be in the output module. If it's a incandescent/halogen lamp maybe eyeball the condition of the 10 x pin headlight connector - look at the state of the pins and the condition of the wires in the loom.

What is the exact warning message ?
