98 mile return journey. First was in normal mode and return in eco mode

This is about 34.5mpg on the US gallon.

I'm getting about 23 average mpg right now. Under 500 miles on the odometer.

Seems like higher mpgs being reported here than the other mileage thread. Interesting. I suspect it's pretty dependent on driving style. Keeping that turbo wound up has to suck the fuel. Eco mode at hwy speed seems to sip the fuel. Awesome dynamic IMO

The type of fuel (octane, ethanol content) probably also plays a role.

I thought it was part of the DCC package. Lame.

I believe ECO requires the MPI injectors, which the US cars don't have. We also don't get Start/Stop.

Also has to do with some of these guys being from the UK. They use a different mpg scale. So 40 mpg for them is more like 35 for us.
