More WIP shots for the track prep and build finalization. Still a fairly long list of things to do but pretty happy to see movement on it in the run up to track season.

Making way for easy camber adjustment at the top hats.

Is that the MK6 diffuser from Verus? I didn't see anything listed on their site for the 7s

Sweet ty!

It's the MK7 diffuser. They only made them briefly before ending production due to low demand. This was probably the last new one left anywhere. Had it during in a box for well over a year waiting to be installed.

Went by HPA today to bring by my summer tires as it's getting pretty warm a bit early up here. Got a real sweet tour of all the new work on the car: a lot of it doesn't get shown but they performed some minor miracles to get the diffuser and exhaust to mount correctly to the verkline rear subframe.

I really do not envy the person who will align this thing. Some of the verkline adjustments are really tucked in and require sub frame to be dropped to access. Hopefully it doesn't have to happen frequently lol.

Car should be mechanically mostly done by end of week but I am leaving the car there to complete some transmission and ECU tuning on the dyno before we go weapons free at the track. Mostly just feedback items based on daily driving it around town.

you have to drop the subframe for alignments? i thought they touted not having to drop it for control arm replacements as a perk.

I remember reading that as well. I need to take a picture of the exact thing which was pointed out to me next time I am under the car.

Oh, this must be the rear subframe? Looks like it has a bunch of shims you can add to the frame itself. Do you not have adjustable toe/camber arms?

I'm interested in eventually going that route for maximum weight reduction, but I think some of the verkline arms add weight, which kills some of the sprung weight savings.

It was definitely something about the front, but memory bad so I'll follow up next time I pop by the shop.

The car went off for its final alignment, Seibon hood installed and a few more bits and bobs with the interior. Stoked to see it next week probably.

HPA's Dyno buildout getting delayed a bit due to weather here (need a few consecutive days w/o rain) as they need to cut into the roof of the building to install the ventilation stack so the waiting game continues on that front.

The alignment shop snapped some alignment porn while it was there for alignment a week or two ago:

No good shots of the part of the front subframe for the problem spot unfortunately.

I'm not sure about that hood man...
Something I was also mulling over is paint matching the hood, and leaving the edges of the vents as exposed CF. Maybe when I financially recover from all of this.
