CTS downpipe from catted to cattless = what gains?

If I swapped out the cat section for the cattless section on CTS DP (APR stg 2), what kind of gains could I expect? Also, any affect on the tune?

What they said, you won't be able to feel a gain outside of added noise. My wife already complains about the smell with a 200cell cat, without I'd probably be shamed back to stock lol

While less backpressure is beneficial on turbo cars, the tiny excuse for catalytic converters that are in aftermarket downpipes are so minimal already that they provide little restrictions. You will gain a bit more sound, specifically turbo spool through the exhaust.

I just swapped mine out a few months ago (stage 2 as well) it was a pain in the ass lol well on Jack stands. But it barely made a sound difference and the smell is the exact same as with it catted. I have my windows down every time I drive unless it's raining and I can never really smell anything at all

TBH (imo) i think they sound like tin cans when cattless, especially cheap DPs
