Awesome, let us know how it turns out. Also want to confirm you can install pads from the top (ie, without taking off the calipers). How much did it cost you to powdercoat? Any chance you have a weight on the calipers as well?
Should be pretty straightforward. Yes the calipers are top loading. Powerdercoating almost cost as much as the calipers, which shows you how great the value on the calipers are.
The scale I used wasn't too great, but it should be around 9 pounds each

Is there a good/easy DIY paint that wont get destroyed in 1-2 years? I may need to redo mine simply due to track duty burning/blackening the paint.

G2 has the highest claimed heat resistance at 980 deg farenheit.
VHT is another good option, but claimed resistance is lower at 900. YHT also offers a clear coat.

I thought it'd be unique to keep the fact that they're Porsche calipers.
Replacing them with the R logo just seems a bit boring for me
Or Audi calipers. Color is nice. Keeping Porsche on there? To each their own.
