I am sadly going to be parting with Gwendolyn, my favourite car ever after 8 years (getting Mk8 R).
Original owner, very clean, garage kept, all scheduled maintenance, no accidents, no smoking, no clutch dump hard launches, never tracked, majority highway miles.
This is the top trim Performance model (essentially the Autobahn + PP), fully loaded with every option that was available (sunroof, leather, etc).
This is the only model year with all the little goodies from VW before decontenting started - felt lined & vented glovebox; hood liner; light ring around 12V plug; lighted switches for overhead light panel; chrome trim on buttons, etc.
Also the only year, and only in Canada, that got the Discover Media Pro infotainment with 8" screen
The engine and major clutch components only have 126k km on them as car got new long block under warranty at 40k km.
Brakes done 1 year ago - upgraded to cross drilled front & rear rotors and stainless brake lines. (Rotors and pads have lifetime guarantee from FCP Euro).
Eibach Euro Pro Kit (Linear) springs and front only Bilstein B4 DCC dampers (from FCP Euro, so has lifetime warranty).
Light weight AGM battery 6 months old.
Just had the "100k oil leak" issue fixed, so good for another 100k miles.
Currently has like new Blizzak WS80 snow tires (purchased late Nov 2023) on 17x7.5 alloy wheels on car.
Has original set of original factory 18" Austin wheels with all season tires as well.
Includes Findway "like carpet" winter mats front and rear. (Sadly they no longer make these).
Many OBD11 coding upgrades:
- comfort windows & sunroof opening/closing with remote
- doors lock via remote with engine running
- Scandanavian DRL w/ fogs
- all in-motion restrictions removed for infotainment
- and many more.
CDV removed, along with clutch pedal spring. Snow grate removed also. Badgeskin GTI sunvisor sticker cover and rabbit embossed airbag light cover.
Additional incentive to help with sale:
- will include OE Mk7.5 dynamic Euro LED tailights & Zero815 harness already installed (full Euro functions including rear fog).
These are beautiful looking and i have seen only a small handful of other Mk7/7.5 around GTA with them.
