Can I use this to set level of Soundaktor

I need to reduce the level or switch off completely the Soundaktor in my new 7.5 GTI. I know I can unplug it but that was a bit tricky when I did this on the last car. I can ask the dealer to do it but also can I do it by using this device?

That took only reads generic fault codes and has no programming capabilities. So no.

Thanks everyone for the info. I think I will give the Carista ago as suggested by dequardo. However I now see that the soundaktor level can now be altered via the system settings on these facelifted models so I will see how much of a difference that makes.
