Yeah I am hesitant to buy it as well. Polyester isn't the best material for these masks.

I have some 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets I’m planning gm on sacrificing for a liner.

my current going shopping mask doesn’t fit well and hurts the ears. Figured I’d give it another go using someone else’s starting point.

What I hate about most masks is they use too strong of elastic for the ear loops and it makes me look like Dumbo.

Ideal would be surgical masks for the public. Studies show 75% reduction in transmission of viruses if all are masked.

The right material can make a cloth mask almost as effective.

It's just impossible to know if what your buying is effective though.

My wife made me a couple of different characters ones and I wear them all the time while going out to the stores as it's required in our state.

My wife makes them too. She uses quilters fabric and there are straps to tie so no issues with ears getting sore. I’ve asked for a tartan one. Fingers crossed. I’ll post a pic if she makes it.

I never used those things. I hated the puffy look they gave my pants. I folded mine like we pegged our pants in the 80/90s
