Balancing with wheel weights

how many is too many? i bought some new enkei kojins and a bit concerning to see so many weights on some. i know they are only 1/4 oz but still visually looks terrible. weight counts on each wheel were 2,3,10,14

It takes s many as it needs to balance the wheel properly. You may have either a out of balanced wheel or tyre causing you a problem.

The 10 and 14 seem high.
What wheel did you buy?
What tires?

You could ask them to dismount the tire and see if moving could result in a better spot.
But they should have tried this.

my thoughts. i got enkei kojins 18x8 w 235/40/18 conti dws 06. they were scuffed up as well which makes me seriously question the technician's abilities

When tire place scuffs a new wheel, I make them replace it.

Returning the full set to tire rack. They blamed UPS but I now know they must use a terrible staff in their install/hardware dept

Did you buy wheel/tire package from tire rack or did local shop mount?
If Tire rack mounted I can share a suggestion.
