Are these able to be installed w/o destroying the existing wiring in case there is a need to go back to stock down the road?

Delivery was 20 days. You could go back to stock, but for this I'd leave em if selling car. The harness for the blind spot leds is a pain in the ass to get through the mirror

Do it, makes a huge difference as far as visibility of the indicator goes. And it's easy if you already have dap mirrors

Bought and received these mirror caps planning on installing them this week. Just have to figure out which wire is positive and which wire is negative on both the car and the new lights. (I'm electrically challenged), but I have a wiring diagram that tells me nothing so that helps LOL. Any ideas?

K303 and K304 are the blinds spot indicators.
367 is ground (brown/green) and it's connected to pin2, so pin1 is going to be positive (red/green).
Also pins/terminals should be numbered.

I see it now! Thank you, will tap into the Brown/Green for ground.

I am curious about this as well. Haven't been able to take the time to look into compatibility much but came across the following part numbers:

• 5H0857537DGRU (Left mirror cap)
• 5H0857538DGRU (Right mirror cap)
• 5H1949145A (Driver lane change warning light)
• 5H1949146A (Passenger lane change warning light)
• 5H08576019B9 (Left mirror trim)
• 5H08576029B9 (Right mirror trim)
• 5H1857507AH9B9 (Left mirror assembly)
• 5H1857508AH9B9 (Right mirror assembly)

AliExpress seems to have the assemblies.

So if I am reading that correctly, the Mk8 uses the same door modules as the Mk7.

I agree with your assessment. Looks like the mirror caps are slightly different as well so there goes that thought.

Well, I pulled the trigger (finally) but I didn't go with a package.

The package is $133 shipped:

Nothing is due until mid-March, so it'll be awhile before I report back with any news.

I went this way vs. the kit as the parts were $50 cheaper when bought separately. I guess I'll find out in 7 weeks if it was worth it or not...
