Interesting. I remember looking at APR+ previously and it seemed like the power gains weren't this good before.

I will say the two things preventing me from tuning my car are warranty and clutch replacement. For a few hundred extra, keeping a powertrain warranty is certainly appealing and helps alleviate one of those issues.

Is the APR warranty only good at participating APR Plus dealers? There isn't one close to me so if I had an issue and only the APR Plus dealer will cover it, I'd have to have it flat bedded 100 miles.

We've changed that. If you still have your factory limited powertrain warranty, you can get APR Plus. So, if your car is a couple years old and unmodified, you can get it!

Arin, what about warranty service. The closest APR dealer is 100 miles away, but we do have a local VW dealer. If an issue arose I could get APR warranty coverage at my local dealer if they deny the factory warranty? Meaning I don't have to get APR warranty repair at an APR dealer?

So have the car flat bedded 100+ plus miles for assessment? That is not clear in the PDF explaining the program. It says approved authorized repair center. Why would you need to approve a repair center if the only place you can get a repair is at an APR dealer?
