2015 MK7 Golf R - Intermittent "Error: Service Vehicle. Only leave vehicle in P position!" & "Fault: Windshield wipers"

I've been experiencing a very weird issue in the past 6 months or so.
When I hit a bump on the road, or sometimes without any apparent reason, my car shows the dreaded "Error: Service Vehicle. Only leave vehicle in P position!", followed by "Fault: Windshield wipers".
At that point, I can still drive, but the wipers and the turn signals no longer work.

Usually, I pull over, turn the vehicle off, wait a few seconds and restart... sometimes it clears on the next start, some other times it takes a while to go back to normal.

I've already installed the Gear Shifter Microswitch Module (which, in most cases, fixes the "Error: Service Vehicle. Only leave vehicle in P position" problem), but the issue persists.

I ran "auto-scan" on VCDS and it reported the issues shown below, whose date/time matches the last occurrence of the issue.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps the steering wheel module or wiring problem. Aside from the wipers and turns, anything else not working? Both of them are on stalks.

Everything else seems to be operational, though I have not checked the headlights.
The messages don't bother me, but not being able to use the turn signal is big problem while driving.
