Hoping someone with VCDS/OBDEleven can check their brake control module, bytes 4and 17 (long coding) and report back what their value (hex) is.

Appreciate it but looking for an R.'17 GTI SE
Byte 4 Hex 54
Byte 17 Hex 2A
Yes got that/looked at/use it. Curious b/c there are 4x 340s on that sheet so was curious which cars have which coding is all. One GTI PP has 50 for byte 4, another 54. My Atlas has 84.You probably want to reference Somnus spreadsheet... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V-OKyWGNWASIKmDf_YrTnT22BEh8ocQ1V1qpXOTBX84/edit?usp=sharing
For what it's worth, 2015 Golf R factory coding... Byte 4 = 54 (340mm brakes) and Byte 17 = 2A (mirror of Byte 4)
Snips from the sheet...

Would probably need to dig through several scans to look at how (else) each of those cars are configured, and dig into the PR codes.Yes got that/looked at/use it. Interesting, your car is coded for 312 mm brakes .Here's my long coding with Bytes 4 and 17 bolded, from my 2017 MK7 R

Haha, indeed we do, and indeed it is.Don’t we start with Byte0? Then it is 54 and 2A, right?
You're one off because it starts at 0 so 54 and 2A.Here's my long coding with Bytes 4 and 17 bolded, from my 2017 MK7 R

You just have retro-fit eyes... too much looking at coding/adaptations and the like, haha.I'm an idiot. Thank you for pointing that error out!
Maybe that means I'm not doing enough retro-fits.You just have retro-fit eyes... too much looking at coding/adaptations and the like, haha.
