Take whatever muffler that cat back has and replace it with a Borla/Vibrant muffler. That is the source of your drone. A lot of this noname brands use minimal dampening material in their mufflers, causing them to vibrate/reverberate creating drone. I had a no-name set up on my 2011 Camaro SS, LT headers no cats with resonators and it was stupid the amount of drone I had. I cut off the mufflers and replaced with Dynomax Stainless welded and the drone was completely gone. You should have almost no drone if you have the OEM downpipe with a 17950 and a decent muffler. That is Jake's no drone recipe.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Nameless isn't a "no-name" set up despite their brand name haha:

I'm not going to replace the mufflers on their system as that makes no sense.
The added Vibrant 17950 resonator to this current system worked wonders (for tone mostly and some for drone). This decision was made after reading every single page on this thread.
Most people would be extremely pleased sound-wise with where my exhaust set up has landed. I just happen to be very sensitive to drone and want no drone whatsoever. I even thought the stock exhaust with valves open on "Race" mode had drone in the same 3000K-4000K RPM range--that's how sensitive I am to this stuff.
Something I've come to realize after HOURS of reading, riding around in cars, and watching videos is that all of these exhausts drone on this platform. It's just the nature of the engine. And that's okay because we all have different goals and different tolerances. I want tone/volume but NOT drone. I liked the slightly better throttle response of the 3" piping over the stock 2.5" piping. I like the rounded tips (and the entire fit/finish of the Nameless cat back). Etc., etc.
Only something that's targeting the drone range (like a J pipe) will truly eliminate drone. It's tried and true and what I'm doing next:
