"We" have a GLC43 and that thing is a fucking beast. Handles everything you throw at it and then some - but it's fully packaged out: AMG Performance, night package, the works. Also handles ridiculously well for its size and kicks its back end out during spirited drives. I'm in love with it.

Neighbor has an AMG e63 wagon. Very high giggle factor that one.

I'm sure the GLC43 is a blast, it's a little lower stiffer, more power, real leather, etc..... But you really don't feel how heavy it is on it's front axles?

The most annoying part of the GLC300 is the front brakes. No matter what you do, they squeal super, super loud when backing up when pads are cold. And I'm not talking about a little squeal. It was so bad it work the neighbors every morning, even in Summer. MB replaced pad and rotors twice, fine for a few days, then back again. Tried non-MB pads, still did it. Looked on internet, tons of complaints about the same. If we kept it, I was going to swap the C300 sliding calipers for the fixed calipers the GLC comes with.

It is heavy, but when in Sport + mode you literally just tap the throttle and the back end corrects it, and it super responsive and easy to control. It also comes with the big daddy 22" rims, so I'm sure just base on that it grips a hell of a lot more than the 300. I'm in absolute love with the car.

I have a high pressure job and when she's on call (once a month) - comes home anywhere from 7pm-2am - everything, and I literally mean everything (kid, cooking, cleaning) all that other shit falls on you. Despite what's going on with your life/work, it has to go on pause. You essentially don't see her once a week - which in itself would not be a terrible thing if you're pounding beers with the boys, playing video games or partaking the company of women with morally suspicious attitudes, but that's rarely the case.
