I fixed the "suspension" noise I have been chasing for the last few months. The GTI kept squeaking over bumps, especially in comfort mode, so I assumed it was a bushing. I replaced the LCA (they needed it anyway), but it's still there. I was about to replace all of the strut mounts, spring isolaters, etc. Then yesterday, I had a sudden thought while driving, "I wonder if my tires are rubbing the fender screws?" Yes, they were, and the worst part is I had noticed the rub mark on the screws when doing the LCAs but didn't put 2 and 2 together. Well, after doing the screw mod, I have officially solved that squeak.

I feel both relief and like an idiot, lol
