Put Rokblokz mudflaps on. I ran the OE mudflaps for 20k or so. They looked good, but the coverage was minimal and the tire facing sides were not smooth. This would trap debris, and snow/ice would build up. Not a fan of floppy Rally Armors on VWs so got these. They went on easy, with turning the front wheels to full lock, and lifting the rear and taking the wheels off.

Replaced front headrests with ones from a Passat. I do like the slight forward adjustability they provide. Tip for those who do this; tilt both seats all the way back, press in the release that sits just below the round plastic circles on the left post (each headrest side) while pushing in the main headrest button and pull off.

Thanks! I'm not a huge carbon fiber fan, but still wanted to upgrade my old worn out wheel. Very happy with the decision! Looks and feels great.

Was looking at doing this same wheel. If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase this from and how much was it? How was the install?

I got mine from TAW Customs (website below), it was $700, and that was with their $100 Black Friday discount. I think you can find some wheels cheaper on aliexpress, but TAW wheels seem to be very high quality, I'm extremely impressed with it.

Took about 6 weeks to ship, but the install was a piece of cake. Only slightly challenging part was removing the chrome trim/MFSW buttons. I had to use several trim tools at the same time to carefully pry it out without braking any of the plastic tabs.

There's a guy named Gio on instagram who sells wheels too, I think a little cheaper, but again, I know I paid for quality. https://www.instagram.com/gio_gtzz/?hl=en

Went to New German Performance today to get my AID Virtual Cockpit programmed to my GTI! It's a pretty cool display and I'm totally digging it so far!

Nice! I've been in contact with Kathy over at TAW and that's likely who I'll go with as well. Enjoy the wheel, it looks great.

Where did you buy it and does it work with the stock steering wheel controls?

I got the cluster and fiber cable from Bill at EuroZone Tuning. The stock steering wheel controls all work like it would on the analog cluster. I see you have a 2018 SE like mine so you already have an MIB2 which means retrofitting the AID cluster is pretty much plug and play (minus the ODIS coding that's required)
