I just installed the reverse LED's that I got from UJ and they are awesome! Pic:

Did you just do brake LEDs or did you also find a good source for reverse LEDs as well? Just curious [emoji4]

We've tried several reverse lights. When it comes to a emitting color white in the 6000k temp range, all the kewl kids use CREE. It is likely, none of these listed as CREE are legitimate CREE(s), but it's possible.

To maximize brightness, you want to change the following adaptation settings via VCDS. You can still use any of these error free in place of you incandescent bulbs, but in general each LED will be the same brightness until you crank up the juice.

Change brightness of reverse lights:

Order placed, can't wait to get em'! I'll review quality and installation, etc. in my build thread.

1. 4x 3014SMD LEDs (got 2 extras just in case)
2. 2x 8-LED reverse LEDs
3. 4x T20 7440 W21W 60SMD 2835 Chips LED in red colour output

I'm in the market for some license plate LEDs and this price is a lot more appealing than deAutokey. Wondering if their premium is worth it/I would feel the price difference. You've been using these with no issue? And do you have any pictures?

Using with no issues. I'll get some pics today. Is the premium worth it? Idk. That's up to you. I'm not a vendor and they are, so I refrain from comment. But these are definitely barely a fraction of the cost and no issues to date for us... not to mention, you can pick up a few spares. Just my $.02, spent on 2 new LEDs, lol.

So this is interesting... Ive been dealing with this and finally tonight had the time to change it. Using the OP mod, my outer tails would be stuck at 127 when the auto lights came on. They would blink in opposite phase as they should but it seemed the running lights were getting overridden. So I changed up the order of which item has priority.

Former:
Brakelite - 127
Blink dunklephase

Standlite - 35

Blink hellaphase

Current:

Standlite - 35

Brakelite - 127
Blink dunklephase

Blink hellaphase

With this setup, the rear tails now return to 35% when not being used as brake lights. They also blink accordingly when turn signal is active. Since I didnt have a third person, I will need to confirm behavior when brakes are active and turn signal is active but I'd imagine it will work as before.

Anyone with a similar issue? Sorry if this has been discussed...

FWIW I have had two deauto plate leds start flaking out. I had a spare from them and it is now also flaking out. Blinking due to two of the six leds failing. But fortunately lifetime warranty!

I thought those bottom signals were only active on RoW models? Whats the story there?

GSW has RoW tails, that's why the UrbanJoke app on ODBEleven isn't fully compatible for the GSW. We need to get the GSW-specific UrbanJoke app setup on ODBEleven.

Lifetime warranty is great... or just get LEDs off Ali Express from the links in my first post.

No I was quite happy. I have V1 loaded and I really like it. However, I was noticing that my outer tails would be, when lights kicked on, at 127 all the time. Under breaking or not, they would be on all the time. I just reoriented the alpha channel order to that the outer tails would return to 35 once the brakes or signal werent being used.

Question: if you do any of the Urbanjoke or Kencha coding tweaks, what happens when you swap your tail lights to the Euro ones?

Would you have to put all your default settings back before swapping the lights out?

Also, are there any special code tweaks specifically for the Euro tail lights?
