Quick question. Looking at getting this intake, and a high flow turbo inlet pipe. Will this work with something like the CTS TIP?

Personally, especially with the lack of movement on this one for DSG, I was looking at going with an MST instead for a full box setup. No window, but a decent looking piece IMO. They also have a dry filter adapter available if you prefer the Racing Line R600 setup. For now I'm staying stock box but it's on the top of my list unless I go CF somehow.

Yes it would work. I'd sell the CTS and get a cast piece. That CTS inlet bends like an aluminum can.

I've got a CTS inlet pipe, I don't find that argument convincing, it works fine.
Depends on what you want, if you're basing the decision on performance here's a comparison.
