Jump starting a start stop engine?

Hi
I have read that you can't connect the negative clamp of a jump box to the battery negative terminal. There is a metal tab bolted to the bulkhead behind the battery, is this a negative connection point? I don't want to fry anything if it's not. There doesn't seem to be any other ground point nearby. Thanks.

I'm not sure about the models equipped with the start-stop function, but the manual says the connection near the negative battery terminal is the correct grounding point to use during a jump-start:

the bayonet bracket is the (-) place for chargers, jumpstarting etc..as it then connects before the BCM module....
