Yet Another Mk7.5 Tail Light Thread...

But this one is a bit different!

All the threads seem to be about fitting the MK7 GTI with MK7.5 tails in order to achieve dynamic turn signal and rear fog bliss. By my question is...

What does it take to get rear fogs and dynamic turn signals on a NA spec 2018 MK7.5 GTI? Are the new LED tails capable of these features with coding? With some wiring and coding? Or do we need to all of the above AND EU spec tails?

The NA factory MK7.5 lights aren’t capable of doing it. You need the European lights, harness and coding.

Awww man, I was afraid of that. At least I can source European lights locally and use a VAT form to skirt the 19% tax I guess. Thanks for the reply!
