My first car, 2008 MKV GTI 2 door 6MT (FSI) in Reflex Silver (Unitronic Stage 2 with an APR HPFP)

Got it completely stock in 2012*, sold in 2020.... loved that car so much, the little K03 spooled so fast and it has so much torque at low rpm, the initial acceleration will push you back hard, it felt like it would pull to 600hp lol but the powerband was very flat....

Final pic with the Golf R I now own...

I had color matched the lowers, I painted them myself in my garage, the wheels too lol.... Had soo many mods... Dearly missed.... shredding the front tires was a lot of fun.... was very tough to let it go.

Just decided to look for a thread like this... So I ended up trading in the A3 for a 330i. Wanted to try something else for a little bit. Guess I'll take the time to look back on what I've owned for the last ~several years.

2017 Jetta SEL - first real intro to the car. First time learning about mods at all. Stage 1 APR, lowered on H&R sport springs, sway bar, intake, exhaust etc. Ended up selling to buy the GTI.
2019 GTI Autobahn - manual transmission. Only had about 9 months before a teenager ran a red light and totaled it. Was only able to get wheels & catback before totaling.
2020 Audi A3 prem plus - Had for about 2 1/2 years, catback, intake, h&r sport springs & sway. Had some issues with the springs so went back to stock. on that. Put it all back to stock before trading in.
2020 BMW 330i - current vehicle. Lots of thoughts in comparison to the A3 but can type that up at another time.

BTW can you tell what my favorite color is???
