WTB: Whispbar k692w fit kit

Does anyone have, or know where I can find the k692w fit kit? I have searched the internet far and wide and it seems to be out of stock everywhere. There are some in Australia, but none of those places are willing to ship to the US.

I order these from my local dealer in early September and just today they told me that Whispbar no longer makes the Fit Kit K692W. What am I supposed to do with the bars? It's just an expensive paperweight now.

I've contacted Whispbar directly and waiting to hear back. Hopefully they're just re-modeling it or something.

Did you get a response from Whispbar yet? I've got a set of Whispbar S 25 bars now for my Golf R and can't do anything with them now because I can't find the K692 fit kit anywhere unless I buy it from Australia!! What the hell!?

I never got a response directly from Whispbar, but my local dealer told me Yakima has discontinued the Whispbar brand so they're not making anymore parts. I guess that's why all Whispbar products have been discounted a bit.
I ended up ordering from Australia using a mail forwarding service, and surprisingly it ended up being the same total price as if i were to buy it here (in Canada).
Ordered from http://www.roofrackstore.com.au/whispbar-fitting-kit-k692-p-447299.html and had it shipped to http://www.sosmail.com.au/ which reshipped it to me.

Frogger - can you tell me exactly how you did this. Did you first set up an account with SOS Mail and then have Roof Rack Store ship it there?

Yup, exactly. Setup an account with SOS Mail and they'll email you an address. Buy the fit kit and put in that address. Once SOS gets the package, they'll email you with payment/re-shipping options.

Thanks. Just placed the order. Kind of crazy I'm doing this, but it is far and way the best looking rack out there. I ordered two sets of K692 and will keep the other for anyone else interested.

OK, found the solution:

Yakima has about two dozen of the K692 fit kit in stock. You have to call them on 888-925-4621 to place the order by phone. It can't be ordered through their website. They also said they're getting more in stock.
