Who else running 245s on coils?

They look properly BEEFY, but the Conti Force Extreme (or whatever they're called) don’t roll over or squish.

Very predictable all the way from turn in to the limit. Zero complaints, but also keep in mind they’re a 35 series as well so that probably helps them keep their composure having a shorter sidewall.

@GTI Jake what was your opinion on 245s with an 8" wheel? I'm sticking with the 18x8s I have now, planning on around -1.5° front camber, and trying to make a plan for tires. I was initially going to do 235s, but if 245 don't squirm too much that might be the move.

245/40/18 Michelins are large...235/40 or 245/35 may be needed to get the overall height of the wheel/tire down a but. Adding some camber certainly will help.

Did @GTI Jake get back to you on this? I'm asking because I want to run 245S on my GTI that I track. I want to make sure that there's enough clearance.
