Who’s passed NY state inspection with DP and how?

My inspection isn’t up until April. I just recently purchased the catted CTS downpipe. I’m probably going to be getting a CEL. So I will try to remove that with either the 42DD 02 spacer or the vibrant J I believe is the other. If that works will I be good? Some people say they fail for cat not being set to ready?

Fix your check engine light via spacer or whatever.
Clear your CEL codes
Drive the car about 20-30 miles to go through required readiness checks.
Light stays off you are good.

If you're getting Stage 2 programming in the mean time, before you go for inspection, you need to flash back to stock.
