What's a safe route on modding/tuning an MK7 GTI !?

What mods/Tune should I go for if I want to keep my MK7 safe but mod/tune it. It's my daily driver!!

17' MK7 GTI
Currently has:
- CTS Intake
- Forge BOV
-Borla S-Type 3" (Non-Resonated) Cat-back

JB4...2 years and haven't had a hiccup...can go back stock anytime I want. Besides a custom tune, it holds up nicely against the APR, GIAC, Etc tunes.

Is it a manual or DSG?

Could need a clutch upgrade to "safely" add power to the manual, depending on driving style.
