What did you do to your mk7 today?

Installed BFI Stage 1 engine and transmission mounts (70a durometer).

Took it for a quick test drive. No noticeable NVH for me. I can feel that the engine is less moving and gets the power better to the ground. My IE catch can fits perfect, like on oem mounts.

Weight difference:
OEM Engine Mount 1.46 kg = 3.22 lb
BFI Stage 1 Engine Mount 1.85 kg = 4.08 lb

Looks very nice in the engine bay BTW

I think so. TN is pretty lax when it comes to auto rules.

Yes, I used a 2x4 flat unter the passenger side (engine mount) close to the edges of the oil pan for not cracking the plastic. Then unter the transmission cast case (drivers side).

I took the airbag light out of the dash, pulled the electronics out of it, and put some cheap window tint over the back side of it. It's better, without looking like I put a sticker on top of it.

Stops the car from cutting torque in 1st and 2nd, in an attempt to reduce wheel hop.

I found all this did was make wheel hop and gain nothing.

All depends on install. My BFI mounts were like 10-15% more NVH than OEM for me.

Yup, hence the lack of vac measurement on the gauge. Had Jake weld that in when my kit was made. Currently capped off until I get everything I need.

yes.. stock tires. with aftermarket tires, this will be a usable mod. but with stock, it will just spin even more than it does already.
