Opinion? Or fact? I prefer listening to people who can present facts so that others can form their own opinions. So far all I hear are opinions.

100% opinion. I have used both and Android Auto seemed way smoother and less glitchy. Not to say it isn't glitchy and doesn't fuck up, Carplay was worse unfortunately. That is only my experience, some people seem to like Carplay more.
