Typhoon turbo, built motor, e85, sneekytune, 2dr MK7, 6MT

vs

(Cam car) vortex xl, e85, eqt tuned, 4dr, 6MT, stock motor

Both of those cars are gnarly. Surprised the typhoon didn't put up more of a fight

Nice runs! I've seen the Typhoon car on IG and was curious to see how it stacked up

One thing to note though, even though both cars are manual they actually DO have different gear ratios. One of the lesser known differences between MK7 & 7.5. I wonder if the gearing is what made the difference or if it's a mix of that and tuning

There is lot of variables here. The typhoon spools later, the tune could need tweaking, supporting mods for air/fuel flow, the clutch setup, driver skill, etc etc.

After what we've learned lately about some tuners and their styles, this outcome is 100% expected.
