Thinking about pulling the trigger on a Shuenk is38

Hello everyone. I've wanted to do the is38 upgrade for a while now, and I will likely be making the purchase soon. But as of now, I'm just looking into my options. The Shuenk is38 looks intriguing but I've heard some people have issues with its wastegate. But I'm pretty sure that you can just buy the bare turbo without that wastegate, then use the OEM actuator. But besides that, I've read that the turbo itself is well-built and runs strong. If I were to buy one new, I would just rather buy EQTs is38 that was great reviews. But there's currently a listing for a used Shuenk with 10k miles. Given that these turbos are well built I feel that with an OEM actuator and linkage it would run just fine. Just wanted some 2nd opinions on what my best bet is. I'll put some pics of the used Shuenk below.

don't buy a used turbo. if you want peace of mind, but a new one from EQT, even if it is the same as the Shuenk.
