Small update:

had the rear differential replaced last week due to a horrible high pitched whine. So I replaced that with new bushings and hardware. And now my new tires just showed today. I’ll have them installed tomorrow morning before work. They are kumho ecsta ps91 in a 255/35/R18

So no new updates for the car as of yet. covid has really put everything on hold for me. a lot of the parts that i ordered months ago are just now starting ship out. so for now, heres some okay shots that i took of the car.

Well its time for a new update. i have a bunch of parts sitting in my parents garage right now. i moved back to LA back in the beginning of october of 2021. well after much negotiating with my employer, i have decided to part ways with company. now im back in texas and working for my father. once i get back on my feet, this post will come back alive.

Went to a friends house the other day to chill and talk about our cars ( you know, the car guy thing. Lol). Anyway we have almost the exact same setup ( his is a 2019, mine is a 2016) minus a few parts here and there. But his car is way cleaner. Well here are some quick snaps I took to test out my two new lenses I bought. Hope you enjoy!

im shooting on a sony a7iii and i was testing out the sony 35mm 1.4 GM lens and the sony 90mm 2.8 macro lens. im a sports photographer by trade. but i love shooting cars

I'm guessing that the interior shots were with the 35mm set at around f/.2.8

Update:
New wheels are here. Kinda. I’ll explain later. But I’m so stoked on these beauties. Here’s a sneak peak. The tires should arrive tomorrow. I’ll be out of town over the weekend so I’ll have them mounted and balanced on Monday.

I'm very late to this party. The cutouts over the struts caught my eye. Do the adjustment knobs not clear the plenum cover? Or were you shooting for a look? Beautiful car, BTW!

they do clear with plenty of room under the cover. i just wanted an easier way to get the camber adjustment without having to pull and bend it up to make my adjustments. plus i think it looks better. and thank you, i really appreciate that.

new update:

Well my new tires and wheels showed up along with my cts turbo resonater delete pipe. But there is just one small problem. I didn’t share this in my last post because I thought I would have this resolved by now. Only 3 out of my 4 wheels showed up in good condition. That said 4th wheel came damaged . I’m now waiting for it to be replaced. Hopefully it comes in soon because these wheels look so damn good.
