The sunset of the 3G network was to begin February 2022. They would not have been able to decommission all 3G towers instantaneously so I would expect there were probably several months before all 3G network capability was lost. But I would also expect that by now the 3G sunset is complete and your (our) 2014-2019 car-net devices have nothing to connect with at this point.
