I just got the GTI so can't say if it was worth it. The GTI is a different car.
When I first got the Nissan it was a weekend car and I always loved driving it during weekends, car meets, etc. Then my dd died on me, so the the Nissan became my daily, and it was horrible. manual in traffic gave my left foot cramps, driving over pot holes and speed bumps were a nightmare, and the loud exhaust meant constant attention from the police. And 6 months ago my wife and I had a baby and as you can imagine the car was just useless with baby transport and grocery getting.

I'm hoping my 4 door DSG GTI will change that. Fun to drive during the week and weekends :)

Too bad u couldn't make it work with getting the GTI and keeping ur Nissan. That's the cleanest example I can remember seeing.

Just goes to show, whoever made it or where ever it was made, a thing of beauty is a joy forever. Peace.
