I built this hardware checklist because of how much of a pain it is + how frequently I find myself ordering hardware for suspension related stuff.

There is that plus more in the Resources section of www.datadrivenmqb.com.
Checking boxes on the main Checklist sheet combines all the unique part numbers into a single row on the Inventory sheet.. so if you have 3 different uses for N10106402 (which is used in several places), you don't have 3 separate qty = 2 rows of the same part number.
This is meant to save the parts guy time.
And then when you go to pick up parts, you can either print out the check list on the Inventory sheet, or you can open it on your phone or whatever and check the boxes as you go through parts:
