Strip grill mod

Hello everyone, do you know if the dimensions of the grill strip are the same in a golf gtd (gray), gti (red) or bluemotion are equal? Can you change one for others? I wanted to change the blue strip of my bluemotion (mk7.5) for another one since I do not like blue. thanks and best regards

Do you think that a vinyl like this would help me or better I cut it? would it be very difficult to give it the shape of the piece?
