To the OP's question, these instances come in waves. I can think of 5 or so times in the past where we had mass spamage. It will pass. Weird how they spam, for months we had 3 spam posts at 7:20 am PST daily, like clockwork.

Admin does not want to place restrictions on new users which I understand and support. We'll just deal with these spammers when the surface. I think all in all staff are pretty quick to knock them out.
